My Story
Hi, I’m Hermeet ..... though most people call me Herm!
Supporting others has always come naturally to me, and over the years, that passion has grown into a professional calling. Whilst raising my family, I pursued a degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Mental Health in Children and Young People. Alongside this, I worked as a Perinatal Co-ordinator at Home-Start Leeds; a role that deepened my belief that many emotional challenges begin early in life.
Driven by a desire to help people feel truly heard, I trained further as a Psychotherapist, completing a PG Diploma. My work is grounded in providing a safe, validating space where people can explore their thoughts, patterns, and behaviours with compassion and curiosity.
I also bring personal experience to my practice, including navigating my own mental health challenges and receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD. These lived experiences, combined with my professional background, allow me to connect with clients in a deeply empathetic and informed way.
